The foundation

The Granite Technology Centre Foundation of Galicia (FCTGG) is a non-profit organization established in 1999 and later declared of Galician and industrial interest. The FCTGG engages primarily in promoting activities connected with innovation, research and technological development in the industry of granite and other natural stones. Today, the FCTGG works actively with public institutions, municipalities, universities and companies. 

Specifically, FCTGG activity focuses on the following actions for the natural stone industry:

• Promoting scientific research and technological development of processes and products. 
• Promoting and defending sustainable development.
• Training, orientation and technical and technological assistance.
• Promotion and technical dissemination of the use of granite and natural stone among prescribers (architects, surveyors, construction companies, engineering firms, etc.).
